Treasurer: Susan Satterfield

Susan Satterfield is the author of a number of published short stories including "Mirror of His Soul" and "The Changing," appearing in Eldritch Tales, and “A Perfect World,” appearing in the Yard Dog Press anthology, Stories That Won’t Make Your Parents Hurl. Her chapbook, Mirror Images, was published by Yard Dog Press in May of 2002. “The Lady Killer” and “Sweet Teddy” appeared in an anthology entitled Small Bites, which was a benefit for author, Charles Grant. She is also the author of “A Bubba Poet” found in The International House of Bubbas and “What Goes Around” from the anthology Flush Fiction. Susan’s short story entitled, “Close Encounters of the Bubba Kind,” can be found in the Yard Dog Press anthology Houston, We’ve Got Bubbas. Her latest sale is a poem entitled “The Hunger: A Zombie Poem,” which appeared in October, 2009 in an anthology titled Vicious Verses and Reanimated Rhyme from Costcom Entertainment. She has a number of writing projects on (and sometimes under) the table. 


Susan is an English Instructor at MCC- Longview in Lee’s Summit, Missouri where she is founder and has been the coordinator for the MCC- Longview Literary Festival the past three years. She lives In Lee’s Summit with her extended family including five dogs, two cats, and assorted fish.
