Wicky Sleight

Wicky Sleight has worked in libraries for over forty years. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her experience includes the State Historical Society of Missouri; Fulton, Mo, Public Schools; St. Louis Community College Library; Texas State Library; Texas Water Commission; Travis County Head of Records; Marshall, Mo, Public Library; and Kirkwood Public Library. 


She is currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer for the University of Missouri-Columbia Graduate School of Information Science and Learning Technologies where she teaches courses on Management and Collection Development. She is Treasurer and Chair of the Development Committee for the Missouri Humanities Council and volunteers as a docent for the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, St. Louis. 

 Wicky and her husband, Hadley, an interior designer, have three children. Mayme lives and works in Austin, Tx; Hadley Ann and husband live in Marshall and have four children; Graham and wife live in Chicago and have one child.
